These pictures have been taken during demonstrations which happened in Paris between the two rounds of the French Presidential election of 2002.

Demonstraters, mainly young people, gathered almost every evening in Paris during those 14 days to protest against the political program of the National Front (considered by a majority of French people as a neofascist party) whose leader Jean-Marie Le Pen qualified for the first time of its political life for the second round of the presidential election.
